LEADERSHIP
THAT MATTERS.
I work with people who are ready to put down what already works in service of what really matters. The world is waiting for all of us to make this choice. It is access to the fullest expression of our gifts, our calling, and the kind of impact our communities and organizations desperately need.
Choosing to live from what matters is risky, but it is also immensely satisfying. It can utterly transform your work, your community, and your life. Action flows naturally, energy is immediate and abundant, and your passion is clear and creative. Peace and satisfaction become the familiar experience of everyday life.
We have the potential to create meaningful change and to forge deep, genuine connections with those around us. We can end every day knowing that we lived authentically, fully, and joyfully.
My clients have included leaders in social justice organizations, major art institutions, and startups at all stages. I’ve coached career military officers as they transition to civilian life, as they heal, and as they choose what’s next for them. I’ve coached white leaders as they strengthen their anti-racism skills, and learn to lead and connect across difference. I’ve worked with men struggling to become the father and husband they want to be, and women in executive roles learning to claim their voice and uniquely feminine leadership style in a company dominated by traditionally masculine styles of leadership. In every client engagement, I hold your true Self as the sacred foundation of all our work, and support you to create a life that is fully integrated with who you are and what you believe matters.
I hold the PCC credential from the International Coaching Federation, am a graduate of Accomplishment Coaching, and a Certified Trauma-Informed Coach. My coaching approach is rooted in Ontology, and informed by Somatics, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Internal Family Systems, and racial healing modalities. I also draw heavily from my background and love for the arts, and I believe that coaching is simply the latest iteration of a perennial conversation about how human beings engage with life. After many years in New York City, I now live in California with my very own lemon tree and a perennial tan. I share my life with my playful husband and our very handsome dog.
“My work with Katherine began during a period of personal and professional difficulty, when my options seemed few and my resources scarce. In our very first meeting, Katherine exuded care and inspired trust. From our time together—I worked with Katherine for over a year—I regained my resourcefulness, confidence, and creativity. Katherine helped me to develop mindful strategies for approaching distress. She allowed space for me to discover richness amidst the spectrum of experience that constitutes life, work, and creation.”

“Katherine has helped me in so many ways it's hard to convey it all through words alone. Prior to coaching and working with Katherine, I didn't realize the power having someone in your corner could hold. She helped me truly identify and process my fears, as well as take action. Our conversations were what helped get me out of my rut and find the courage to pursue the things that are meaningful.”

“Working with Katherine was one of the best decisions I've made in my life. Her natural gift of being able to see inside your heart and bring out the truest side of you makes her an unmatched partner in anyone's personal growth journey.”
